Battery law
In connection with the sale of batteries or rechargeable batteries, as well as the delivery of devices containing batteries or rechargeable batteries, we are required by law (Battery Act) to inform you of the following:
Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. Consumers are legally obligated to return used batteries properly. You can either send your used batteries back to us or dispose of them free of charge at designated collection points (e.g., municipal recycling centers or retail stores). If you choose to return your used battery to us, we will reimburse the shipping costs. Our return address can be found in the legal notice (Impressum) on this website.
The symbol of a crossed-out trash bin indicates that the battery contains hazardous substances and must not be disposed of with household waste.
Battery Labeling:
- Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by mass
- Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by mass
- Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass
Please help protect the environment by disposing of batteries properly and contributing to their recycling.
